About The Maker

About Splash Fabrics

(Seattle, Washington)

Splash Fabric is a small woman owned Seattle company designing laminated cotton fabric and products including tablecloths, aprons, bibs and bags.

As makers, when Coronavirus hit Seattle hard in March 2020, they started making masks out of their napkin fabrics. They redirected their production and 3 weeks in, they ran out of their own fabrics and found an American made brand of the perfect mask fabrics here in their own back yard. They pick up yardage, have it cut into masks and farmed out to their home stitchers, all 2-3 miles away. They have a full circle of supply and production right here in Seattle.

They currently employ 25 otherwise furloughed minority home sewers with full-time good paying work. The high quality of their products and their Mask Mission continues. They now offer 3 styles: string tie, ear loop and kids’. Many say these are the most comfortable masks they’ve tried.

As part of their mission, they have donated over 30,000 masks and counting to first responders, essential workers and low income folks.
