About The Maker

About Lantern Press

(Seattle, Washington)

Lantern Press (Est. 2008) creates original, full-color, retro-style illustrated artwork on their full line of products. The core line of products is paper-based, which includes magnets, key chains, notecards, postcards, prints, matted prints, luggage tags, desktop calendars and stickers. The artwork and the printing are all done here in Washington, while Lantern Press people strive to make sure that recycled paper is used as often as possible.

The small staff of full time graphic artists work to make sure that the prints don’t look like just a cookie-cutter souvenir. Instead they want it to feel like custom artwork, like someone from a town of 3,000 people was able to capture its spirit in a printed illustration.

“The satisfaction of doing something that someone responds to positively. That’s the biggest reward.” — Steve Konz, Artist

HANDCRAFTED FOR YOU - Their production department handcrafts every item for you, and this commitment to quality and craftsmanship shows in the products they make.

DOMESTIC PRODUCTION - They wanted to support our local economy and ensure they could provide high quality, print-on-demand products when you need them, so they built their production facility at home in Seattle, WA.
