Hand Blown Glass Votives

SKU
Hand Blown Glass Votives

Hand blown art glass votive candle holder. Holds 1 tea light or 1 votive candle. Candle holders are fairly thick and sturdy. Approx dimensions 3" diameter and 4.5" tall; they weigh about 2.5 lbs. Each votive holder is unique in the way the colors blend together. The art glass has a tendency to look completely different when rotated. We try to maximize translucency for brighter colors when lit. It takes a vision, many hands, four layers of molten glass and two thousand degree furnace to make one glass votive. Each votive is handmade and signed by the artist, but since every one is a unique piece of art, each will shine with its own lively, signature glow when lit. Dehanna strives for perfection, but small bubbles, color, and size variations are all indicative of hand blown glass.

Please clean with glass cleaner or warm soapy water.

About The Maker

About Dehanna Jones - Totally Blown Glass

(Seattle, Washington)

Dehanna describes herself as a Glass Minimalist.  And since her designs are often ornate, this term is not descriptive of her work, but rather, it defines the process.  She feels the concept is more important than the technique and describes glass blowing as a lifelong commitment.

Aside from her own work, she enjoys working with other artists and architects in the fabrication of glass elements for larger structures, installations, and homes.
