Hand Blown Glass Paperweight - Northern Lights

SKU
3-09487

The starry night sky is filled by a mesmerizing dance of lights, a meeting of the Sun's solar winds and the Earth's magnetosphere. In the Northern Hemisphere this spectacular phenomenon is known as the northern lights, or aurora borealis (Latin for dawn of the North). Part of Glass Eye Studio's Celestial Series: A marriage of science and art as unique designs reveal the mystery of heavenly bodies. All glass from Glass Eye's Seattle studio is individually crafted by artists, not machines. This ensures that every piece has its own unique characteristics, just like the individuals who collect it. Everything from Glass Eye Studio contains ash from the 1980 Mount St. Helens eruption. Approximately 3" diameter. All pieces are signed and presented with story cards in a velvet keepsake box.

About Glass Eye Studio

(Seattle, Washington)
