Fisher Fair Scones At Home Experience

SKU
8-08519

For the past 120 years, the Washington State Fair has featured the best of our state. Except for 4 years during WWll, the Fair has operated every year in spite of fires, floods, changes in culture and the challenges of our times. The Washington State Fair has always been “Washington’s summer home to gather and celebrate”, but as the state continues to navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic, the difficult decision was made to close the Fair in 2020.

But all is not lost - our friends at Fisher Scone (a fair favorite for over 100 years) couldn’t let “The Puyallup” go by without bringing the Fair home to you with their Scones At Home Experience Kit. Fill your home with the aroma of fresh baked scones and memories of Fairs gone by.  Bake the original mouth-watering Fisher Fair Scones in your home oven, smear with whipped butter (not included) and top with their local Fisher raspberry jam and you'll  be doing the Puyallap in an instant. Don't know about you, but they had me at the aroma of fresh baked scones. . .

Scones At Home Experience Kit includes:

  • (2) 18 oz Pouches Fisher Scone mix
  • (1) 32 oz Fisher Raspberry Jam
  • (24) Fisher Scone Sleeves
  • (2) Fisher handled Bags

Get Happy. Happy Is Good.
Includes enough mix, sleeves and bags so that you can share the Fair experience with your friends and neighbors.

Now, you know what comes next...with scones in hand, all together:

♫  Oh you can do it at a trot,
You can do it at a gallop,
♪ You can do it real slow so your heart won't palpitate.
Just don't be late.

About The Maker

About Fisher Scones

(Seattle, Washington)

Fisher traces its beginning back to 1910 when Fisher Flour Mills incorporated in Seattle. A year later, the company started milling operations on Harbor Island, nested between what is now downtown Seattle and the nearby neighborhood of West Seattle along the Duwamish Waterway. The company quickly established itself as the largest flour mill in the western United States.

To promote the use of its high-quality flour, Fisher Flour Mills came up with the idea of selling piping-hot scones at major fairs, starting out at the Panama Pacific Exposition in San Francisco and soon after at the Puyallup Fair in Washington state. Those delicious Fisher Fair Scones quickly attracted a loyal following that continues to this day.

On June 1, 2011, Fisher celebrated their 100th anniversary. A few months later, on Sept. 15, 2011, they sold their 100th millionth scone, and from the very same location — the Washington State Fair in Puyallup — where it all began so many years ago.
