Abby was born and raised in the heart of Seattle, WA. Growing up in a family that encouraged punny humor and word play, she began subconsciously designing greeting cards and witty catch phrases at a young age. While attending Gonzaga University (Go Zags!), where she studied Accounting and Management, Abby began doodling and creating punny greeting cards for friends and family. Due to popular demand, she began producing small batches of hand-drawn greeting cards. Not able to keep up with demand, she realized she could turn her hobby into a small business…Abby Barr Cards located in the Queen Anne District was officially born in 2018! Since then, Abby is overjoyed with the love, support and appreciation for her cards. Abby is constantly striving to raise the Barr with new designs involving witty word play and funny puns!
