Our Local Flavor

We've had great success this past summer with Our Local Flavor - we have enjoyed viewing over 300 submitted photos and have chosen images to print as notecards, available to purchase online and in our stores throughout the year.

You're invited to continue submitting photographs, as we will be posting them to our Facebook page on a regular basis. Submit your beach or waterscape, your spring flowers blooming, your sighting of local wildlife, or whatever you feel captures the unqiue spirit of Washington State.

Here in Washington, we are lucky to have the rich physical and cultural diversity that make this such a special place to live. From the beaches and rainforests of the West to the deserts and agriculture of the East, picking daisies along Manastash Ridge, making fresh tracks in the powder at Crystal Mountain, or eating salmon at Tillicum Village, there are so many unique places and experiences that create Washington's local flavor and make us proud of our beautiful state.

It’s not only the scenery that makes us love this state however, but also the memories we’ve made here, and the stories we’re now able to tell. This is your chance to share why you’re proud to live in Washington and submit your favorite Washington moments.

Send in pictures of the people, places and events that have made your best experiences in Washington, and at the same time, enjoy the stories and photos of your Washington neighbors. It doesn’t matter what perspective you come from, whether you love Washington because of Walla Walla sweets, or geoduck digging at Hood Canal, it’s time to share.

How It Works...
participating couldn’t be easier!

Simply submit your stories and photo by using the form below.  Please feel free to submit multiple photos (no promotional photos, please), as often as you like. Each entry needs to be submitted individually, though, so we can capture your thoughts on the image.

Follow our updates on the Made in Washington Facebook page.  View all of the entries, and while you’re there, become our fan!

Have your camera ready to click as you travel down the street or across the state– you never know when you might capture your our local flavor.
