Job Description: | Made In Washington- Retail Store Associate
The Made in Washington retail chain is seeking to hire Retail Store Associates in the following locations:
Retail Store Associate Westlake
Retail Store Associate Alderwood
Position Overview:
The Sales Associate's role is to WOW our customers by serving our customers with excellence, identifying customer needs to find the products customers seek, keeping the store looking great, helping with inventory management, and cash handling (opening and closing duties). Through various training, the Associate gains an in-depth knowledge of our products and the stories that make these artisan products unique. The Associate also loves working in a team environment, is flexible to help the team succeed, and looking to develop within our company.
The proper candidate will not only have the right attitude, but must be able to perform retail store requirements and possess the job skills necessary to be successful in this position.
Job Requirements:
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual who demonstrates excellent customer service skills and has a track record of retail success. Additionally, the following job-specific requirements and skills are critical to the Retail Store Associate position:
-Must be customer service, as well as, goal oriented
-Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal skills

-Computer skills are a must
Experience:
-Must have an excellent work record referenced from current and/or previous employers
-Sales & Customer Service Experience preferred.
-Retail experience is a plus

| Position: | Retail Store Manager Bellevue Square |
Job Description: | The Made In Washington Stores retail chain is seeking a full time Manager to lead our flagship store located in Bellevue Square Mall.
If you are an experienced retail store manager and are looking for an exciting and challenging career working with fine products that represent our home state, then Made In Washington Stores is the company for you! This position is a unique opportunity to get out of the everyday unrewarding retail environment and showcase your talents to achieve large potential growth in a premier regional mall.
Position Overview:
The Store Manager leads the sales team in thrilling our customers and making sales and profitability goals. The Manager maintains and oversees the store’s operations including, but not limited to: the training, hiring and scheduling of associates, customer service, sales, inventory management, collaborating with other stores to grow sales, fulfilling store transfer requests, and other ongoing functions necessary to the smooth operation of the business.
The proper candidate will not only have the right attitude, but must be able to perform management requirements and possess the job skills necessary to be successful in this position.
Job Requirements:
The successful candidate will be an experienced retail professional who is a highly motivated self-starter, demonstrates leadership skills, and has a track record of success. Additionally, the following job-specific skills are critical to the Retail Store Manager position:

• Ordering, receiving, stocking, and managing inventory

• Must be organized & detail oriented
• Must have a proven track record of success & excellent verifiable work history

• Ability to balance multiple priorities and handle a strong workload
• Ability to think & communicate clearly and execute consistently
• Ability to prioritize and manage tasks
• Ability to promote and increase sales
Physical Activities Required Performing Essential Functions:
• Standing, walking, bending, climbing, and stretching
• Manual dexterity and the ability to move 50 pounds.
• Vision must be sufficient to perform job functions safely
Required Experience:
• Management experience with demonstrated leadership and growth in a retail environment
• Must have excellent work record referenced from current and/or previous employers
• Minimum of 2-3 Years of retail management experience
• Experience managing the significant volume changes in a seasonal business
Education Requirements: College Degree
Availability: Consistent with the dynamic needs of a retail business, flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and/or holidays as needed
