My brother in-law and his wife live in Vancouver, WA. My sister in-law was born in WA and has always lived in WA. My sister in-law loved the gift items we sent from Made In WA. I live in Cleveland, OH and I wanted to buy gift items from WA. I believe in supporting local businesses and artists. My sister in-law was thrilled with the votive candle holder made from Mt. St. Helen's ash from 1980. I am a native Clevelander and my husband is from Oregon; we met in Connecticut while both serving in the United States Navy. I lived in Portland, OR in the 80's and had to shovel Mt. St. Helen's ash from my gutters. The artists who use Mt.St. Helen's ash to create items of beauty impressed me. Plus my name is Helen and I want my sister in-law to look at the votive and remember me. I was able to buy WA state wine for the adults, candy from Seattle for the kids, the votive a special keepsake celebrating my sister in-law graduating with a Master's Degree.
The gift selections and also price range of the gifts on line allowed me to send a beautiful selection of gifts for the entire family. I enjoyed looking on line at Made in WA allowing me to select gifts from the heart. The gifts were delivered two days after I placed my order.
